message to hugo chavez

if you haven't heard that this cat called bush the devil at a UN meeting, you must be living under a rock. either that or your tivo is stuck on MTV. either way, you can read somewhere else about what he said.

but i want to bring attention to something that new york democratic representative charlie rangel said:

You do not come into my country, my congressional district, and you do not condemn my president. If there is any criticism of President Bush, it should be restricted to Americans, whether they voted for him or not. I just want to make it abundantly clear to Hugo Chavez or any other president, do not come to the United States and think because we have problems with our president that any foreigner can come to our country and not think that Americans do not feel offended when you offend our Chief of State.

i agree. as much as i don't like dubya, i also feel like chavez doesn't have the right to say what he said. this is the US and we all have a right to not like him or his policies if we don't want to. we can even speak up against it. but to come to our soil (he came to Harlem the day after that speech) and keep on talking smack is just not acceptable.

my message to chavez: only WE have the right to post stuff like this:
bush and cheney beatbox
george bush WHAT?
endless love (wait, does this qualify as insulting someone else's leader? my bad)

just for clarity: i don't think bush is the devil. he can't be in 2 places at the same time can he?
