the u.s is attacked again
we haven't been attacked in a while. i guess the dust had just settled a little while they were planning their next move. there is no end in sight to this stuff. no coincidence either that it happened 5 years to the day after the WTC attacks. they know exactly what they are doing.an al-quaida offshoot group attacked one of our embassies in syria. i only know what i read in the A.P reports, and it looks like they had little or no success and that most of the fatalaties were the attackers, but it just goes to show that they will never stop.
here is a link to one of the AP articles.
not that i predicted it or anything, but my ticking time bomb comments from yesterday sure do seem prophetic unfortunately. and trust, i don't take any pleasure in the fact that i was right. this makes me sad too, i was hoping i'd be wrong and have to eat my words down the road. maybe i will still, but looks like i won't be eating anything for a while.
no progress indeed...maybe some i guess...but definitely not enough.

Post a CommentHere's an interesting perspective.
Why Syria May Be the Real Victim of the Attack
Some excerpts:
But the Syrian regime itself may have more to worry about in this particular attack than the U.S. That's because as it may have been intended as a riposte to Washington, the raid was a bold challenge to the rule of President Bashar Assad.
What the attack shows, in fact, is that the Syrian regime's own long war with Islamic extremists is heating up again.
Another way to look at it is that the Syrian regime may be reaping what it sows.
