hate KO'd by love

man, this world is jacked up. i've been keeping up with the news over the last few days, and there have been some stories in there...boy, lemme tell you.

but the one that is really jacking me up is this whole jonBenet ramsey thing. 10 years later, they finally found her killer. he was holed up in thailand somewhere doing things with minors that i'd rather not even think about. he confessed to the whole stinking thing.

sadly enough, that didn't gross me out. i've heard that enough in my life that i am a little desensitized to it.

instead, i read this and it was over:
"He said it was second-degree murder. He said it was unintentional. He said he was in love with the child, she was a pageant queen," Suwat (his attorney) said.

is this guy serious? what kind of disgusting, jacked up, sicko are we dealing with here? and how many more of them are in there in my midst? HE WAS A TEACHER!!!! sweet jesus, we are in trouble.

so now this dude has me all riled up right? he has me thinking in cuss words and imagining some new ways (pretty creative actually) to teach him a lesson...guantanamo bay style (aka do whatever we want and shine all of our laws style). he has me reminded of the times that jesus warned us...

how this world is depraved...

how the worst is yet to come...

how humanity would hate truth and good...

how we would instead embrace evil and hatred...

AND how love would win in the end.

i forget that part sometimes. i foget that love wins in the end. i forget that gods vengance will come and he will make everything right. i forget that all of the things that are done in the shadows will come to the light.

then i remember things like this! or like this. or even like this! see, there are good things in the world. there are people that would rather fight for the right things than succumb to the wrong ones.

gotta stay focused. we're in a race. stay focused...
