i like john piper :)

i was reading a devotional this morning written by john piper. if you don't know who this is, he's a pastor in minnesota and an author. he wrote one of "my favorite books that i haven't quite finished yet" called desiring god.

anyways, the devotional had to do with a tough passage in romans 9 that many people use to defend a calvanist position of predestination, yet he avoids the issue entirely and sheds some interesting light on the issue of questioning god.

do we have a right to question/ask questions of god? do we have a right to challenge god? do we have a right to ask god to explain himself? these are all questions that i have asked myself in the past. i really like his answer here.
