usc ends season right

you know what? this year started off "very nice" (c) borat.

my trojans kicked the booty's (pun intended) of the michigan wolverines in the rose bowl. it was a beautiful sight watching the air game take control of the second half.

when i was sitting with james and sonia watching the usc vs. ucla game, we kept saying over and over that they should go to the air because our run game was shut down. michigan had our number too on the floor, but we adjusted as we should have vs ucla. and it worked. booty had the best game i've ever seen him play and jarrett pretty much signed NFL papers on his way out of the stadium.

that loss to ucla really stunk. but you know what? i've been saying this all along. the better team did not win that game. we were dumb and cocky and we had our eyes set on the big show against ohio st. but we forgot about beating ucla first.

it's like this...it's like when you are walking down the street thinking your looking mad sexy. christmas just passed so you're rocking your new super tight hollister shirt (btw, when is this fad gonna end? hopefully soon....) and "cool guy" jeans. you're rocking the coolest of everything you have, even new socks cuz they don't have holes and they are still cushioned at the heel.

then you trip over that crack in the curb and eat pavement. now your new kicks are scuffed, you ripped your jeans, your shirt is all dirty, and you knocked your tooth out like james!


that's what the ucla loss was. they are nothing more than a crack in the pavement, but they runied our chances at another title.

the usc team that came to the rose bowl yesterday could beat ohio st, no doubt. that trojan defense could stand against the best in the nation and bring home another trophy.

ben, consider yourself lucky.

but hey, pac-10 champs and rose bowl champs ain't too shabby. sure beats a 7-6 season and a loss to mark keppel high in the emerald bowl.
