father's day

i put some pics up on gabriel's blog of us. i really like the one of gabriel with me and my dad. i never knew my grandfathers, and i am looking forward to gabriel knowing my dad. my dad is a great guy, and i love him a lot. gabriel will learn that soon enough...

gabriel has been sleeping a little more so we are pretty excited about that. 6 hours of sleep is an eternity nowadays, so thank the lord for small mercies.

we went to church this morning as a family, and steve asked me if we had missed church since he was conceived. the answer is no, and i was glad to have my entire family together in church on father's day on the very first sunday of gabriel's life. i know that his going to church every sunday for the rest of his life does not automatically equal a godly life.

but it is a good start...
