OWNED!!

For those of you that missed the ending of the USC vs. Notre Dame game last weekend, you missed the game of the year, maybe the last 10 years.

USC beat ND in dramatic fashion, scoring a touchdown on a Matt Leinart sneak with 7 seconds left on the clock. It was amazing. It was incredible. It was unbelievable.

The play before, Leinart made a run for the goal and was cracked by one of the ND defense. He got nailed so hard that the ball came out of his hands and went out of bounds, stopping the clock. This was both bad ball handling and good fortune. If he had held on to the ball, we would have lost that game. It just goes to show that God is a Trojan fan.

I feel bad for the Irish fans, especially those that stormed the field prematurely. They must have felt pretty bad having that upset ripped from their hands.

Nonetheless, I revel in our victory. I will talk crap to anyone I feel like that wants to pass this off as a lucky victory. USC came from behind, and they crossed the field in under 2 minutes coming from a 4rd and 9 situation on their own 26 yard line. Leinart held his composure, threw a 61 yard pass to Jarrett and got us to where we needed to be.

It took huge nuts to go for it on 4th and 1 on their own 19 yard line while losing 21-14 in the 3rd quarter. It took huge nuts to change the play at the line of scrimmage when Leinart spotted Jarrett in single coverage along the left side of the field. It took huge nuts for Carroll to allow his QB to make the call to either sneak or spike the ball. I took huge nuts to call the sneak with only 7 seconds on the clock when we could have easily kicked a field goal to go to overtime.

Win or lose, we put it on the line. This is the heart of a championship team. Never die. Never give up. Take it from their grip by force.

Bring on UCLA and Texas, you're gonna get owned too.
